One on One Certification

BLS Skills - One on One Certification

You may request a BLS Skills challenge, we call this "One on One" Certification.

Licensed EMSA Childcare Providers cannot do One on One renewal. State Law requires a full 8 hours of training every two years

This is available to the following students – All cards issued by the instructor

• BLS Chiropractors, dental employees, any medical staff/healthcare employees
• CPR with AED only – Fitness employees, teachers and ones needing CPR training only with or without the AED training – Two year certification.
• First Aid only – Assisted living employees or anyone needing First Aid only training – Three year certification.
• American Heart Association BLS - Healthcare provider, anyone requiring BLS/CPR Healthcare level – Two year certification
• Basic (Adult) CPR and First Aid, Fitness employees, construction employees, anyone needing a two year adult only CPR and/or First Aid certification.
• Pediatric (Infant, Child & Adult) CPR & First Aid, Foster parents, sports coaches, anyone needing a two year (Infant Child & Adult) CPR and/or First Aid certification.

Who will benefit from our One on One Certification?

If none of our classes work with your schedule consider our One On One Option.

Benefits of One on One Training:

• You would meet with one of our instructors individually to demonstrate the required skills.
• You will receive your certification card on the spot.

Location for One on One Training:

• During daytime - San Ramon Training Location
• During evenings or weekends - Livermore

Charges for One on One Training:

Option 1

$75 which includes all required material, and a two year national recognized certification card issued at appointment with no required written test. (This is a flat charge for all certification that BLS skills check completion) This option is for anyone needing to CPR with or without AED only, First Aid Only, CPR & First (Adult), or Pediatric --Infant, Child, Adult CPR & First Aid Training. Nothing else is required (e.g. online training) or needed for this option.

Option 2 ( two steps required to complete this option)

American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (ONLY)

Step 1

The cost is $17.50 for the online portion (paid directly to American Heart Association) at time of the online training presentation. See below for the link to the web site. Click on the link below to take the online class. http://www.onlinetrainingplace.com/

Step 2

After you have completed step 1 contact Adams Safety Training to schedule a "BLS Skills Check --Review"

Adams Safety Training will provide the skills review and issue the American Heart BLS/CPR certification card.The cost for the skills check is $43 paid to Adams Safety Training. Cards issued upon completion.

Cost $17.50 for online test and $43 for BLS skills test (total $60.50)

Duration: Entire process takes about 1 hour.

Exceptions:One on One training is not available for

• Family Daycare Providers
• Licensed Pre-School Employees

California Emergency Medical Services Authority requires a full eight hour class training every 2 years for above categories.
